Authors
The press is open to KPI faculty, researchers, and doctoral students, as well as to authors from other universities and research institutions in Ukraine and worldwide. Books are published in Ukrainian and English. We encourage authors to use an ORCID iD.
Publishing Policy and Peer Review
The press follows the Publishing Policy of Igor Sikorsky KPI, which is based on the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the principles of the Open Access Scholarly Publishing Association (OASPA), and the University's Code of Honor. All manuscripts are peer reviewed.
Open Access and Licensing
As a rule, titles are published open access immediately upon publication and can be read, downloaded, and shared free of charge, without registration. Our standard license is Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0), which allows sharing and adaptation with attribution to the authors and the original publication. At the authors' discretion, an individual title may have different access terms, which are stated on its page.
Copyright
Authors retain copyright in their work and grant the press the right to publish and distribute it. Terms of publication are set out in the press's public offer.
Identifiers and Metadata
At the authors' request, books are assigned ISBNs and DOIs; DOIs are registered with Crossref. Every book has a stable address and complete bibliographic metadata, making it easy to find and cite.
Preservation
The platform is the publication of record. Backup copies are kept in ELAKPI, the Electronic Archive of Scholarly and Educational Materials of Igor Sikorsky KPI. Authors may deposit their published books in other repositories, citing the DOI or the address of the original publication.
